I saw a story about this dude who ate Skyline every hour for 24 hours.
For those of you who don’t know, Cincinnati style chili is chili made with finely ground beef, a blend of spices including Cinnamon that makes it slightly sweet, served over a hot dog or spaghetti noodles and covered in cheese. Skyline is name of the most famous of the local chains that serve Cincinnati style chili.
My Skyline consumption dropped drastically when I went caffeine free because the only suitable combination of food and beverage is Skyline and Mt Dew. Lunch/Dinner at Skyline was the only time I broke my caffeine free fasting. Then Skyline flipped me the double bird by going Mt Dew Free and I knew our decades old relationship was over.
(DudeistJon’s Note: Camp Washington Chili is better and still serves Mt Dew. Unfortunately they are about 45 minutes away and in a part of Cincinnati that gives you no reason to go there other than eating at Camp Washington Chili.)
But this SirYacht dude has me thinking. In all the resort/touristy/warm areas there are sunset cruises on sailboats. To be honest, those cruises usually suck. They don’t sail. They motor out away from land, stop long enough to watch the sunset and eat some cheese, then motor back.
I have always wanted to have a good tacky touristy type cruise on a sailboat experience. When I saw this story I had an epiphany. I am going to have Skyline Cruises on my sailboat. Then I could have people bring Mt Dew and Skyline to the lake for me.
The plan is you bring me Skyline and Mt Dew, we go sailing and eat Skyline. I like to go fast when the wind is right so this would also require wearing clothes you don’t mind staining with Skyline.
My order is 4-way bean, extra sloppy and a can of Mt Dew. I try to avoid having plastic on SV Serenitas.
