Sail With DudeistJon

I try to avoid running into things when I am going in and out of dock. So I often invite people to go sailing and help me. Here are the directions on how to find the marina where I keep SV Serenitas.

I am typically out 3-5 hours depending on the weather. No experience required.

  • My boat is at a marina about 75 minutes east of Cincinnati. Make sure you are ok with driving before signing up.
  • This is a working sailboat meaning you will have to pull on the ropes that I point at.

Bring sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and cooler with your choice of beverages and any food you want to eat. Make sure hats and sunglasses are attached to your head because it gets windy!

Cell phone reception is bad out by the lake so I may not answer my phone.

To find me follow your navigation app to
6500 Lucas Lane Hillsboro Ohio

You will see a parking lot full of trucks with trailers. DRIVE PAST THAT

You will see a sign that says “East End Overlook”
Turn right at the sign

If you go past the sign that says “NO OUTLET” you just missed the turn

Follow the road to the East End Overlook. It is a LARGE grey building right next to the lake.
Park in the parking lot there and look for the black gate that says “Dock 2”

The gate should be open. If it is not yell really loud and I will come get you. We are the last sailboat on the right side.
