Did you know the number eight is considered a lucky number in many cultures? Two of my three couples today did and they decided to get married today on 8/8/24. The third couple just got lucky.
My first couple was David and Macy, an awesome young couple that couldn’t stop giggling. I sincerely wish I was that young and in love again. The didn’t know about it being a lucky day, they were so in love not much could phase them.
Feiyang & Zihua were my second couple of the day. Zihau broke her leg just two days ago. She was so determined to get married today she put off surgery and showed up on crutches! I offered to come to her but she insisted on hobbling across the park. She was a woman that was determined to get married.
Then Amanda and Tyler bride showed up with their daughter and two sons. The boys didn’t lose the rings and their daughter did a wonderful job being in charge of the bouquets. One of the bouquets had a beautiful ring and watch in memory of Amanda’s grandmother. She and Tyler made those bouquets themselves!!!!!
Everyday someone reminds me of why I have the best job in the world.
